Seachtain na Gaeilge is a festival that takes place all over Ireland every March. The festival gives people an opportunity to attend Irish language events, to experience the spirit of the festival, and to use Irish in an enjoyable way. Seachtain na Gaeilge usually takes place from the beginning of March until just after St. Patrick’s Day.
The Clann Lir Festival celebrates the connection between the Erris region and the world-famous ‘Children of Lir’ legend.
